If you love strolling along old wooden piers then be sure to add the San Clemente Pier to your list. Originally built it 1928 it was 1,200 feet long. The pier has had its share of storm damage, the most recent was 1983, but it is back to it's back and ready for sightseeing and fishing.

Downtown is a half-mile walk from the pier to downtown on Avenida Del Mar.
The San Clemente Trolley Red Line operates year-round on Saturdays and Sundays. Starting May 23 through September 30, the Red, Blue and Green Lines all run daily. You can also walk a half-mile to the shops and restaurants in Downtown San Clemente.
