Metrolink to Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Day with $10 SoCal Day Pass

Metrolink is offering an affordable alternative to sitting in seasonal traffic on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Next Thursday, Dec. 25, and the following Thursday, Jan. 1, Metrolink customers can enjoy unlimited rides for just $10 per day with the SoCal Day Pass on the Orange County, Inland Empire/Orange County and 91/Perris Valley lines. Whether heading to a family gathering or fitting in a holiday outing, local Southern Californians and visitors alike can take the stress out of travel and avoid packed roadways by climbing aboard and letting Metrolink do the driving.

On both holidays, trains will operate a weekend schedule on all lines.

2025-2026 Holiday Schedule

Metrolink trains will operate on a weekend schedule on the Orange County, Inland Empire-Orange County, and 91/Perris Valley lines.

Additionally, Metrolink is pleased to offer the SoCal $10 Pass, good for unlimited rides throughout the system during the four holidays below, making it even more affordable for you to take Metrolink!

  • Thursday, November 27, 2025 – Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday, November 28, 2025 – Day after Thanksgiving
  • Thursday, December 25, 2025 – Christmas Day
  • Thursday, January 1, 2026 – New Year’s Day

Metrolink trains will operate regular service on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

$10 Holiday Pass Promotion

Metrolink offers our $10 Holiday Pass good for unlimited rides throughout the system that day, making it even more affordable for southern California residents and visitors to take Metrolink to beaches and other destinations.

The $10 Holiday Pass can be bought on the Metrolink Mobile App or at ticket machines at Metrolink Stations found under "special ticket options." The Kids Ride Free on Weekends promotion is not available with the $10 Holiday Pass.
