Metrolink will temporarily reduce service on most lines starting Monday, March 23, for at least the next seven weeks, due to ongoing mechanical issues.

What to expect:

• Some trains suspended or adjusted
• Fewer trip options overall
• Possible shortened trips, delays, or cancellations

Metrolink Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line Track Closure - May 16 -17, 2026

On Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, all train service on the Metrolink Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line will be suspended due to planned maintenance and rehabilitation track work across Orange County. As an alternative to train travel, passengers are encouraged to check OCTA bus routes. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service will also be affected by the track closure.
