Director Jon Dumitru is a lifelong resident of the City of Orange and now resides in and serves as the City’s District 2 representative to the City Council. Most of the Dumitru family also live in Orange, and those not residing in the United States live in the southern European countries of Romania, Hungary, and Croatia. Dumitru attended all Orange Unified Schools as a youth and is a proud graduate of Orange High School.

Director Fred Jung was elected to serve a four-year term representing Council District 1 on the Fullerton City Council in November 2020 and was appointed Mayor in 2021. Jung is the first Asian-American Fullerton City Council Member in over 20 years. Orange County's City Selection Committee reappointed Jung as a city council representative to the OCTA Board of Directors in January 2023.

Director Stephanie Klopfenstein, born and raised in Garden Grove with family roots dating back to the town's early 1800s, was elected to the Garden Grove City Council in November 2016 and subsequently reelected in November 2020. Orange County's City Selection Committee selected Klopfenstein as a city council representative to the OCTA Board of Directors in November 2023.

Carlos A. Leon was elected to the Anaheim City Council in November 2022, representing District 2 in west Anaheim.
Council Member Leon is a lifelong west Anaheim resident who attended Mattie Lou Maxwell Elementary School, Dale Junior High School and Magnolia High School. He also served in Anaheim Community Services’ VolunTEEN program.

Director Tam T. Nguyen serves as a Public Member on the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board of Directors. He joined the Board in April 2021 and currently serves as a member of OCTA's Executive, Finance and Administration, Legislative and Communications Committees, as well as OCTA's Diverse Leaders Group. Chair Nguyen also serves as one of Orange County's representatives to the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (Metrolink) Board of Directors.

Director Donald P. Wagner serves as the Third District Supervisor of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. He joined the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors in April 2019. Wagner is honored to represent over 630,000 diverse residents in the communities of Anaheim Hills, Irvine, Lake Forest, North Tustin & Tustin, Orange, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, the unincorporated canyons, Villa Park, and Yorba Linda.
