55-Hour Closure

WHAT

In preparation for the new interchange configuration, crews are anticipated to perform construction activities that will require a continuous 55-hour closure of the following:

WHEN

As early as 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27 to 4 a.m., Monday, March 2

CLOSURES

• Westbound SR-91 straight on-ramp at Lakeview Avenue
• One lane of southbound Lakeview Avenue
• One lane of northbound Lakeview Avenue

These closures are necessary to safely accommodate construction activities associated with the new interchange configuration.

Potential impacts may include backup alarms from construction vehicles, bright lights, noise, and traffic delays. This work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

Additional Sunday Night Full Closure

WHAT

Lakeview Avenue will be fully closed. Motorists will not have access to Lakeview Avenue. Refer to map to view provided detours below.

WHEN

6 p.m., Sunday, March 1 to 4 a.m., Monday, March 2

CLOSURES ON SUNDAY NIGHT:

• Both directions of Lakeview Avenue
• Two lanes of westbound SR-91 between westbound Lakeview off- and on-ramps
• Westbound SR-91 off-ramp at Lakeview
• Eastbound SR-91 on-ramp at Lakeview
• Westbound SR-91 straight on-ramp at Lakeview
• Westbound SR-91 loop on-ramp at Lakeview

Additionally, there will also be reduced lanes on the westbound SR-91 freeway from 8 p.m., Sunday, March 1 to 4 a.m., Monday, March 2.

Note: EB SR-91 off-ramp will remain open.

Closures and Detours

WHAT

Beginning at 4 a.m., Monday, March 2, motorists traveling both northbound and southbound on Lakeview Avenue will use a new signalized intersection to access the westbound SR-91 straight on-ramp as part of the new Lakeview configuration.

Beginning as early as 6 p.m., Sunday, March 1, the westbound SR-91 loop on-ramp at Lakeview Avenue will be permanently closed. Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signage and plan ahead.

This work may cause traffic delays. Drive carefully in the area.

WHEN

• New configuration in place: 4 a.m., Monday, March 2
• Permanent closure of westbound SR-91 loop on-ramp: As early as 6 p.m., Sunday, March 1

CLOSURES

• Westbound SR-91 loop on-ramp at Lakeview Avenue (permanent closure)

As of July 7, 2025, Eastbound SR-91 Loop On-Ramp is Closed for Approximately Two Years
