Bus Service Change Improvements
Effective May 11, 2025
The Bus Service Change Improvements provide a summary of adjustments to OC Bus. To improve service quality and reliability, changes include the extension of Route 553 from ARTIC to Disneyland Resort along Katella Ave. and Harbor Blvd., schedule adjustments to better serve summer beach traffic and minor schedule changes to reduce wait times.
- Minor Schedule Adjustments: 26, 30, 33, 35, 38, 43, 54, 56, 57, 60, 70, 71, 72, 86, 129, 143, 150, 151, 177, 178, 473, 480, 529, 543, 553
- Summer Schedule Adjustments: All Days: 1, 29, 47, 89
Routes Details
Route 70
Weekdays: Added a trip at 3:24 pm on Mondays to better serve Godinez High School.
Route 71
Weekends: Improved frequency on Sunday to 45 minutes (same schedule Sat & Sun).
Route 143
Weekdays: Adjusted the westbound bus arrival times at the Fullerton Transportation Center to 5:59 am and 7:35 am to ensure connections with Metrolink trains #602 and #705.
Route 177
Weekdays: Added two new am trips at 5:09 am Northbound and 4:52 am Southbound.
Route 473
Weekdays: Added two new pm trips at 2:03 pm and 6:03 pm departing from University of Irvine.
Route 529
Weekdays: Removed the stops at Beach Blvd. and Cerritos Ave. and Beach Blvd. and Trask Ave.
Route 553
Weekdays: Extended route from ARTIC to the Disneyland Resort Area via Katella Blvd. and Harbor Blvd.
