The 396-acre Trabuco Rose Preserve is located in Trabuco Canyon, northwest of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita. Bordered by the Cleveland National Forest to the north and Trabuco Creek to the south, the preserve features rolling terrain with elevations ranging from 1,120 to 1,650 feet above sea level.

The preserve helps connect adjacent open spaces in the foothills, protecting important natural lands while limiting urban encroachment.

Participants must be 8 years of age or older. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pets are not permitted on hikes.
