Crews will close three of the four lanes on both sides of the freeway in 2-mile sections between the Aliso Creek Rest Area and the San Diego-Orange County line tonight, Oct. 21 through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In addition, the northbound lanes will close Friday, 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. and on Saturday, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. and the southbound lanes will close Friday, 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The $37.3 million I-5 Ocean View Rehab Project is expected to take about two years to complete.  Motorists should expect delays during work hours and it is suggested they check Caltrans Quick Map online at quickmap.dot.ca.gov for the latest freeway traffic information before leaving home.
