Event Information


Don’t miss the 66th Annual Swallows Day Parade and Mercado in downtown San Juan Capistrano. The parade celebrates the city’s rich equestrian tradition and features an amazing number of equestrian teams, dancers, and marching bands. This year’s theme is Trails, Tails & Traditions - 250 Years and will feature Donna and Ken Friess as Grand Marshals.

Parade: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mercado: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Taking Metrolink to the parade and mercado won’t break the bank! Weekend day passes for adults are just $10. Kids 17 and under ride free. Plus each paying adult can bring up to three kids for free. If you’re a monthly ticket holder, you can ride for free on weekends.
