Event Information


Don’t miss the 65th Annual Swallows Day Parade and Mercado in downtown San Juan Capistrano. The parade celebrates the city’s rich equestrian tradition and features an amazing number of equestrian teams, dancers, and marching bands. This year’s theme is Lassos and Lace and will feature Kathy Holman, founder of Otra Mas Horse Rescue and Equine Therapy, as Grand Marshal.

Parade: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mercado: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

$10 weekend day pass, kids ride free

So many ways to ride and save!

Taking Metrolink on the weekends won’t break the bank! Adults, ride as much as you want Saturday or Sunday for just $10. Kids 17 and under ride free. Each paying adult can bring up to three kids for free! All monthly ticket holders ride for free on weekends, plus students ride free with Student Adventure Pass.
