Federal Transportation Improvement Program
The Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) is a capital listing of all transportation projects proposed over a six-year period. Projects include highway improvements, transit, rail and bus facilities, high occupancy vehicle lanes, signal synchronization, intersection improvements, freeway ramps, etc. The OCTA FTIP database (OCFundtracker) includes all projects that are deemed regionally significant, regardless of the funding source and allows local agencies access to view and amend their projects.
The 2025 FTIP cycle will begin this fall. Please review the videos below for an overview of the 2025 FTIP, tutorial of the FTIP component of the OCFundtracker system, and tutorial of the carry-over process required for the 2025 FTIP. If your agency has questions regarding specific projects or needs further instruction after watching the videos below, 2025 FTIP meetings are available the week of September 25th-October 5th. Each agency should only sign up for one meeting. All meetings will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. Please sign up for a meeting in the Doodle poll here: doodle.com/poll.
