Each legislative session, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) adopts State and Federal Legislative Platforms to identify and direct policy activities in Sacramento and Washington D.C. These platforms are intended to be flexible documents that guide activities throughout the legislative session. Past topics have included the state budget, federal appropriations, safety, construction and maintenance of roads and highways, rail and transit programs, environmental concerns, and various administrative and employment issues.
