On Saturday, February 22, your family fun day begins with a train ride to the Kids Pet Parade and Expo in San Juan Capistrano. The event starts at 10 a.m. in Los Rios Park, just a short 2-minute walk from the station. Next, stay for the Animal Rescue Expo or stroll the beautiful historic San Juan Capistrano including the new River Street Marketplace.
Please note: if you want to bring a pet to the parade, it must be in a small carrier that can fit under the seat or on your lap.
Expect everything from a llama to a Labrador at the Kids Pet Parade & Expo! Children bring exotic pets, cats, dogs, even farm animals to be judged. Many animals are in costume. Winners will be invited to the Swallows Day Parade in March!
