Download the OC Bus App to your mobile smartphone. Your pass will appear in the "My Ticket" section. To create your acount, you must use the email you need to register for your SAC classes.

This 3-year transportation program lets you ride OCTA's local fixed-route buses unlimited with the OC Bus mobile app or your activated student ID. Now there’s one less thing to spend money on!



Can I still use the bus pass if I don’t have a smartphone?

Yes, you can activate your student ID at the below locations and use it as a bus pass.

SAC Students, Student Business Office and Johnson Student Center

Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm


How does it work?

When you board, scan the pass on your smartphone or swipe your student ID.


When does it expire?

  • OC Bus app passes automatically renew each semester.
  • Student IDs are non-transferrable and must be reactivated each semester to be valid as a bus pass.

Who is eligible?

All Santa Ana College full- and part-time students.


Are there any fees?

Each ride on OC Bus is free. After the semester starts, students will be charged a once-a-semester transportation fee ($6.76 full time, $5.75 part time) as part of their student fees.
