Biography


Andrew N. Hamilton serves as the 13th Orange County Auditor-Controller. Previously, he served as the Finance Director for the City of Yucaipa, on the Lake Forest City Council and as the Chief Financial Officer at Mesa Water District. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Systems and obtained his CPA in 1995.

Naresh D. Patel comes to the Taxpayer Oversight Committee with more than 25 years of experience in the commuter and freight railroad transportation industry. He resides in the First Supervisorial District and has been an Orange County resident for more than 20 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Clayton D. King is an accomplished attorney in Huntington Beach with over 30 years of experience specializing in forensic accounting. With a background consisting of bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science, along with a Juris Doctorate, he is recognized for his strong organizational and verbal communication skills. As a resident of Orange County for more than three decades, Clayton is dedicated to ensuring transparency and financial responsibility in community affairs.

Monica brings to the Taxpayer Oversight Committee a diverse background consisting of public accounting, community outreach and advocacy, civic engagement, livery, fitness, and education. She also currently volunteers on the leadership board for a ministry serving teenagers in foster care. She has lived in OC for the majority of her life and is proud to represent the residents of Second District and their tax dollars.

With over 40 years as an Orange County resident, James Fuchs is a highly experienced CPA recognized for his expertise in financial analysis. He began his career in a Newport Beach CPA firm and later established his own practice in 1986. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting, James is dedicated to advancing financial integrity and implementing responsible management practices in the local business community.

Michael Neben studied Radio/TV Production at Ohio University (undergraduate) and Communications Science at Boston University (graduate). After a long and successful career in educational television, he joined the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce and retired as President/CEO in 2004.

Residing in the Third Supervisorial District, Kirk Watilo has lived in Orange County for more than 30 years. He served on the initial Taxpayer Oversight Committee after the passage of Measure M in 1990. Mr. Watilo earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration at the University of Southern California and has been a member of the Community Associations Institute for more than two decades.

James Evans brings over 24 years of experience in school facilities and construction management to the committee. Currently serving as Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation for a public school district, he has overseen projects totaling $700 million funded through voter-approved bonds. His leadership includes mentoring in educational leadership programs and active involvement in organizations like CASH, reflecting his dedication to improving educational infrastructure in Orange County.

Robert Dorneman is a licensed broker with two decades of experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing and project management. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton, he has a proven track record in managing complex manufacturing processes and successfully launching new production facilities. Robert's expertise in operational efficiency and budget management makes him a valuable addition to the committee's oversight efforts.

Mark W. Eisenberg lives in South Orange County and represents the Fifth Supervisorial District on the Taxpayer Oversight Committee. He has a Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law and has practiced law for 30 years. He has lived in Orange County for more than 20 years and is the Newport Coast: Ziani Homeowners Association President.
