Support OCTA’s Environmental Mitigation Program
- In March, the Board approved the M2 Environmental Cleanup Allocation Program, Tier 1 call for projects, totaling approximately $2.8 million.
- Construction of a pilot bus wash water reclamation system was initiated at OCTA’s Santa Ana bus base.
- OCTA awarded nearly $3 million to fund 18 projects that will help keep trash and debris from being deposited in waterways and the ocean.

- OCTA purchased a seventh open space property, the 151-acre Aliso Canyon Preserve in Laguna Beach, and approved a non-wasting endowment target of approximately $34.5 million to fund long-term management activities for all acquired open space properties.
- OCTA released draft plans for public review that will guide the management of valuable wildlife and habitat on its open space properties in Trabuco Canyon and Silverado Canyon.
