Manage Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service
- In July, administrative responsibility of the state-funded Pacific Surfliner intercity rail service was transferred from Caltrans to the locally governed LOSSAN Join Powers Authority (JPA) through an Interagency Transfer Agreement (ITA).
- OCTA, as LOSSAN’s managing agency, is responsible for the managerial and operational oversight of the Pacific Surfliner service, which is the second busiest Amtrak route in the nation, serving 2.8 million passengers annually.

Coordinate services with Riverside County
- OCTA worked with the Riverside Transit Agency to jointly fund bus routes and approve the annual SR-91 Implementation Plan for improvements along the SR-91 corridor between the SR-57 and the I-15.
- OCTA collaborated with the Riverside County Transportation Commission to coordinate construction improvements on the SR-91 corridor and extend the 91 Express Lanes into Riverside County.
Record-breaking Stuff-A-Bus donations
- In December, OCTA participated in the 23rd annual Stuff-A-Bus event at the Honda Center along with ABC7, Southern California firefighters and the Anaheim Ducks. A record-breaking 31 buses were filled with toys and bicycles surpassing last year’s 27 buses.
