Metrolink ridership increased on all three Orange County lines.
Ridership on the Orange County Line grew 8 percent from fiscal year 2010-11.
On the 91 Line, ridership was up 8 percent over the previous year.
Ridership grew 5 percent over fiscal year 2010-11 on the Inland Empire-Orange County Line.
After completing safety enhancements at 52 rail crossings in eight Orange County cities, OCTA supported the implementation of the largest rail quiet zone in the U.S., including 34 railroad crossings in six cities.
As part of Project S, a call for projects was released for bus and station van extensions to transport more people to Metrolink stations.
Project development continued for Go Local fixed-guideway projects in Anaheim and in the partnering cities of Santa Ana and Garden Grove.
The City of Anaheim completed the final design for the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) and ground was broken for the project.
