The OC Bus Service Change Improvements provide a summary of upcoming adjustments aimed at improving service quality and reliability. Changes include frequency improvements, better connections with Metrolink, and schedule adjustments to enhance on-time performance across the system.

Highlights of This Service Change

  • Frequency improvements on Routes 47, 64, 66, 90, and 123.
  • Route 90 scheduled to better connect with Metrolink at Tustin Station.
  • Additional morning service on Route 123 between Anaheim Canyon Station and CSUF.
  • Extend Routes 35 and 43 to Park Avenue and 19th Street.
  • Minor schedule adjustments on multiple routes to improve reliability.

Minor Schedule Adjustments
The following routes will receive adjustments to improve on-time performance:
Routes: 1, 25, 29, 33, 35, 47, 50, 54, 56, 59, 70, 83, 89, 123, 167, 177.

Routes Details

Routes 35 & 43
All Days: Extended routes to Park Avenue and 19th Street.

Route 47
Weekdays: Improved frequency to 16 minutes (peak & midday).
Weekends: Improved frequency to 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 57
Weekdays: Northbound 3:57 a.m. trip moved to 3:52 a.m. to improve connection with eastbound Route 38 at 5:06 a.m.

Route 59
Weekdays: Southbound 4:37 a.m. trip moved to 4:33 a.m. to improve connection with northbound Route 55 trip at 5:23 a.m.

Route 64
Weekdays: Improved frequency to 30 minutes from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Route 66
Weekdays:
• Improved frequency to 12 minutes (short alignment) / 24 minutes (long alignment) during peak hours.
• Improved frequency to 15 minutes (short alignment) / 30 minutes (long alignment) midday.
• Removed 3:10 p.m. eastbound trip.
Weekends:
• Improved frequency to 15 minutes (short alignment) / 30 minutes (long alignment) from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Route 90
Weekdays:
• Improved frequency to 30 minutes during peak hours.
• Scheduled to better align with Metrolink trains at Tustin Station.
Weekends:
• Improved frequency to 60 minutes all day.

Route 123
Weekdays:
• Added two new southbound trips at 7:09 a.m. and 8:09 a.m. from Anaheim Canyon Station to CSUF to connect with Metrolink trains #805 and #807.
• Improved frequency to 60 minutes all day.
