Fifteen
years ago, Orange County voters passed Measure M, renewing a
half-cent sales tax to support local transportation
improvements. Through Measure M, OCTA has carefully invested
taxpayer dollars to build and maintain one of the finest
transportation systems in the state, while also protecting
the environment that makes Orange County such a great place
to live, work, and visit. Measure M has now reached the
midpoint of its 30-year lifespan, and OCTA remains committed
to delivering these improvements through 2041. Fifteen years
in, the progress is clear. And the best part is, we’re only
halfway there.
