As we head into
the new year, we
continue to
provide the
people of Orange
County with
transportation
options that
have evolved to
meet their
needs.
Our free public
transit programs
for youth and
community
college students
now make up
close to 20% of
our bus
ridership, up
from 3% before
the programs
were introduced.
In its first
year, the I-405
Improvement
Project has
reduced travel
times for
drivers in the
regular lanes
while the 405
Express Lanes
offer additional
time savings.
The project
provides drivers
with more
choices for how
they travel,
reflecting
OCTA’s
commitment to
enhancing
mobility and
supporting the
needs of our
communities and
the region.
