Today passenger rail service was fully restored ahead of schedule on the rail line through San Clemente following emergency work to build a catchment wall. This expedited work was made possible through strong cooperation between our transportation agency partners and the state, including the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) and the California Transportation Commission. OCTA and its rail partners will continue to work with local, state and federal stakeholders on the immediate, near-term and long-term solutions for protecting rail service along this critical corridor.
