Great news! In October, you’ll have an easier and more affordable way to pay transit fares on OC Bus and the upcoming OC Streetcar. The new Wave fare payment system guarantees that you alwaysget the best fare. Once you reach a daily cap ($4.50 for regular riders) or a monthly cap ($69), the rest of your rides are free! The account-based system automatically tabulates your rides and stops charging you when you’ve hit your daily or monthly amount. You can pay three ways: A physical Wave card, Wave mobile app, or debit or credit card. Cash will still be accepted onboard. Questions? Find the answers here.

Our Balanced Budget Champions Transit
We recently approved a $1.74 billion budget that keeps essential transportation improvements moving forward while responsibly planning for a balanced and sustainable transportation future for Orange County.
About half of the approved budget invests heavily in public transit. In addition, the budget allocates funds to improve local streets and purchase zero-emission vehicles to help improve air quality for the entire community.
Lost Your Bike (or anything else) on OC Bus?
Journeys combining bus and bike are a great way to travel, but sometimes bikes get left behind. If we find your bike, we’ll send it to our Lost & Found. Please contact us as soon as possible to claim it. We hold bikes for approximately 3 months, and then we may sell those valued at $250 or more at public auction. You can browse and buy unclaimed bikes at PublicSurplus.com or generalauction.com. Don’t wait – reach out early to reclaim your ride! Besides bikes, hundreds of other items are left on our buses, and we’ll help you find them! Visit here for more information.
