The I-5 Gateway project, which is widening the last two miles of the freeway in Orange County up to the Los Angeles County line, is now in its final year of construction.
Two major ramp closures continue: the northbound I-5 Beach Boulevard off-ramp will be closed from now until late April. The southbound I-5 Beach on-ramp will be closed until late spring. Full closures of the I-5 in Buena Park will continue overnight through the middle of the year.
