Reduced Fare ID
If you are 60 years and older, or disabled, you can take advantage of OC Bus reduced bus fares. However, effective October 8, 2017, you must show proper identification when purchasing and to the coach operator when boarding. Listed below are the acceptable types of identification cards and how to get them.

How to Apply for an OCTA Disabled Reduced Fare ID
Step 1: Download the appropriate application.
Submit a copy of your photo ID along with a copy of the acceptable reduced fare ID with your application.
- Medicare card (Red, White and Blue card)
- Service Connected Veteran ID
- Braille Institute ID
- Persons with disabilities cards from other transit agencies
- Customer receipt for a DMV Disabled Person Placard

Not Acceptable for Reduced Fare
The following ID types will not be accepted for reduced fare:- Medi-Cal State of California Benefits ID card
- Cal Optima health care card
- OCTA Reduced Fare Identification Eligibility approval form
- Social Security Benefits documentation paperwork
- Social Security Card
- Doctor's note
- Any other form not show or indicated above
