  • Form 806 – Public Official Appointments

    The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requires each agency to post a single Form 806 (FPPC Regulation 18705.5 amended March 2012). Form 806 reports additional compensation that officials receive when appointed to positions on other boards or committees of a public agency, special district, and joint power agency/authorities.  Each agency must post a single Form 806 listing all paid appointed positions including the date appointed, length of term, and stipend.

    • The Executive Committee is responsible for monitoring the overall activities at OCTA, developing new policy and strategy recommendations for the Board of Directors, and reviewing policy issues as deemed necessary by the Chair.

    • The Finance and Administration Committee is tasked with reviewing and providing recommendations to the Board of Directors on a variety of financial and administrative matters including but not limited to investments, debt financing, financial operations, financial reporting, human resources, risk management, and information systems.

    • The Legislative and Communications Committee is tasked with evaluating and recommending multi-level strategies and action plans for advancing OCTA priorities at the local, state, and federal levels of government. The committee also provides guidance regarding OCTA’s public communications, community relations, marketing, and customer relations activities.

    • The Highways Committee reviews the planning, programming,and delivery of regional planning and highway programs and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. The committee also reviews and makes recommendations to the Board regarding OCTA’s compliance with federal and state regional planning and programming requirements. Local agency eligibility and compliance with Measure M safeguards and requirements are reviewed by this committee, as well.

    • The Transit Committee reviews and provides recommendations to the Board on matters related to the operation of bus and commuter rail services, including fixed-route bus service, express route bus service, bus rapid transit service, ACCESS service, other para transit service, and Metrolink service.
